Wallpaper is the hot topic today!!  More people are using wallpaper to jazz up their walls.  The wallpaper of today is unique, colorful and can change the look of a boring room into an exciting room.  One of my favorite things to do for my clients is to get the white textured wallpaper and put it on the ceiling in a dining room, then add a fantastic paint color to it and you have just created a magnificent ceiling.  The ceiling will be the topic of every dinner conversation in the dining room.  Check out my new article on more tips for adding wallpaper to your home and remember that it comes in organic and Eco-friendly alternatives too!!!

Two wonderful books

Two wonderful books I love to recommend to help parents get started on eating healthy for kids!

Healthy delicious tuna casserole

Any kind of pasta
3 cans of white tuna
one head of cauliflower steamed and mashed
half cut olive oil
dried onion flakes
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup of cheese mozzarella, Cheddar
 


Cook pasta
set oven to 400 degrees
mix pasta, tuna, cauliflower, olive oil and sesonings together, sprinkle cheese over top and pop in oven....cook until cheesed melts.

New article on a dangerous toxin in your carpet

I just published another one of my healthy home articles on a particular toxic chemical that is in your carpet.  I am doing a series on carpet and outlining each chemical that the carpet company's do not want you to know about.  As many of you may know, I am an organic interior designer with 12 years of design experience but up until 6 years ago when my father was diagnosed with a rare bladder cancer I had no idea what toxins were used in the textile industry.  Unfortunately my dad had to become ill in order for me to start researching ways to help him fight his cancer and I stumbled onto the toxic chemicals used in the design industry today.  I have made it my mission and my tribute to my father who passed 11 months ago to keep researching  and getting the word out to the public about the toxins and healthier products that are available.  Thankfully I am not alone on this quest and many companies have stepped up to the plate and are offering wonderful interior design products with no harmful toxins.
